Day 1: London – Calais – Overnight drive
Late evening board the coach and cross the English Channel via ferry or Eurotunnel. From Calais, embark on an overnight journey to Switzerland. Driving time from Calais to Rhine Falls is approximately 11 hours. Breakfast (N) Dinner (N)
Day 2: Rhine Falls – Central Switzerland
In the morning stop to freshen up at services, and make the onward journey to travel to Schaffhausen to view and explore the largest waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine falls and be amazed by its sheer magnitude. Later travel to Central Switzerland and check-in to the hotel. Breakfast (N) Dinner (Y)
Day 3: Interlaken (optional Mt. Jungfrau
Depart for Interlaken to enjoy the day for shopping and breathtaking scenery. Alternatively, take an optional excursion to Mt. Jungfrau; begin by driving to the Lauterbrunnen Valley, the deepest U-shaped valley in the world with either of its sides raising 1000 meters. On arrival, board a cogwheel train to the top of Mt. Jungfrau at 3454 meters above sea level; ensuring visitors’ snow & ice all year round. At the top, have free time to explore the Ice Palace to view life-sized ice sculptures, visit the Sphinx observation tower for spectacular views of the Aletsch glacier and surrounding peaks. Day 4: Mt. Titlis - Luzern – Zurich City
Ascend 10.000ft to the summit of Mt. Titlis. Take the world’s first revolving cable car, the Titlis Rotair. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding Swiss landscapes. At Mt. Titlis have free time to play in the snow, visit the ice caves or take a professional photo in traditional Swiss outfits. Then, depart for Luzern to view the Lion Monument and the oldest wooden bridge in the world, Chapel Bridge. In the Early evening proceed to the financial capital of Switzerland, Zurich; here enjoy free time to explore this amazing city and view the Grossmunster Church, Limmat River and Zurichsee. Day 5: Calais – Dover – London
This morning, settle into the comfortable seats and embark on a journey to Calais (driving time from hotel to Calais is approximately 10 hours); during this long drive be entertained by movies and variety of music.
